Jay Jordana attended San José State University (SJSU), where she completed her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and studied choral conducting with Dr. Charlene Archibeque. She served as the assistant conductor to Barbara Day Turner and the San José Chamber Orchestra and sang lead soprano with two nationally and internationally acclaimed a cappella jazz and world music ensembles, +4db and SoVoSo. Jay completed her teacher certification in secondary education at SJSU, as well as Levels 1 and 2 Kodály Certification at Holy Names University. Jay is former Director of Music Ministries at Foothill Presbyterian Church. Currently, she is a music and choral teacher at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley.
