Our Commitments
Vivace Youth Chorus will:
Adhere to all recommendations and regulations from local, state, and federal health agencies.
Provide H13 HEPA air filtration and UV disinfection devices in all of our rehearsal spaces.
Keep windows and doors open whenever possible for additional ventilation.
Require singers with any symptoms of COVID-19 to follow public health department guidelines, including staying home from rehearsals.
Require all staff to be fully vaccinated† against COVID-19 prior to any in-person activities, rehearsals, or performances.
expectations for singers & parents
Singers attending an in-person event must:
Not attend if feeling even mildly sick or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness.
Abide by physical distancing and other safety guidelines for rehearsals and classes as set forth by Vivace.
Wash and/or sanitize hands frequently.
Cough and sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue.
Singers must stay home if they:
Are experiencing any symptoms of illness, even if mild.
Have tested positive for COVID-19, and must remain home until cleared to return to in-person activities by the Public Health Department.
Singers and staff are asked to wear a mask during in-person activities if they:
Test negative on an antigen test prior to attending, but have had close contact with a person who has since tested positive for and currently has COVID-19.
Test negative on an antigen test prior to attending, but live in a household with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Parents must:
Notify the Executive Artistic Director in writing if their singer tests positive for COVID-19.
Notify the Executive Artistic Director in writing if their singer is missing an in-person activity because they are feeling unwell, noting the symptoms being exhibited.
Be able to pick up their singer promptly from any in-person activity if the singer becomes unwell while in Vivace’s care.
